MFF Equine Veterinary Services respects your privacy. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we handle your data:

  • Data Collection: We will collect your name, phone number, and email address when you sign up for SMS messaging. The information will be collected via the website contact form, email, rental agreements, or third-party reservation systems.

  • Data Usage: We will use your data solely for sending appointment reminders, confirmations, customer services needs, alerts and updates.

  • Data Security: We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access.

  • Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at any time.

  • Messaging Rates and Data Rates MAY APPLY. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan.

  • Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies.

  • Opt-Out : You can opt out of the SMS list at anytime by texting, emailings, or replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to mffequinevet@gmail.com or (217) 353-3905. After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS to confirm you have unsubscribe and we ill remove your number from our list within 24 hours.

  • You can send HELP for additional assistance, and you will received a text including our Phone number, email and website. We are here to help you.

  • Non-Sharing Clause: We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. MFF Equine Veterinary Services will not sell, rent, or share the collected mobile numbers.

Google Maps uses GPS, Wi-Fi, and cell towers to estimate your location. GPS is accurate to about 20 meters, while Wi-Fi and cell towers help improve accuracy when GPS signals are weak, like indoors. This data helps Google Maps provide directions, but it is not always perfectly precise. We obtain and store on your device ("cache") your location.  We may share your information with Google Analytics to track and analyze the use of the Services. The Google Analytics Advertising Features that we may use include: Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Analytics Demographics and Interests Reporting and Google Display Network Impressions Reporting. However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
